Kim Smeltzer was born in Charleston and grew up on James Island, and can’t imagine being anywhere else. She has a brother and twin sister with whom she spent time fishing, shrimping, crabbing, hunting, and horseback riding while growing up. Kim graduated in 1985 from the South Carolina Institute in Greenville, SC, where she studied aesthetician electrolysis and manicuring. She has been in skincare since then, gaining over 38 years of experience in the field. In 2013, Kim decided to further her career by becoming a Medical Aesthetician.
She frequently attends certification courses and conferences. The additional education keeps her up to date on offering tech-savvy and cutting-edge treatments to our clients. When asked why she does what she does, she maintains that she loves her job so much it never feels like work. Kim believes that spending time with her clients is one of the most rewarding and satisfying things in life. There is nothing more fulfilling than watching someone find their inner confidence and live a better life!
