Kristin Ansley is from Moncks Corner, just outside of Charleston in Berkeley County. She has spent her entire life in the Lowcountry. Kristin is married to Connor, a Mount Pleasant native, and they run a family-owned business called HCA Pools in Charleston. They have 3 Weimaraners and a Beagle/Hound Mix, and enjoy offshore fishing as a favorite pastime. Kristin graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and summa cum laude from Duke University with a Masters of Science in Nursing. She is board certified by ANNP as a nurse practitioner, specializing in adult-gerontology. Kristin believes that functional medicine is a calling and a desire to do better – to do more for her patients, promote optimal health, and to meaningfully address many of our society’s significant health burdens. Kristin was drawn to functional medicine because she was looking for something more in taking patient centeredness a step further. Functional medicine has given her the foundational tools to address complex medical issues, where she used to only have the tools to mask symptoms. Kristin has been working with CHHC since 2023.
